The Flamingo’s legs are a single piece of driftwood, two branches that grew exactly parallel. Her legs are not as thin as a regular flamingo’s legs because, like the artist, she is a tropical native transplanted to Minnesota, so she is wearing long underwear and snowpants to stay warm.
